The Cans Festival UK
I headed down to the Cans Festival yesterday which was located in a disused ex-Eurostar train terminal in Waterloo. The queue to get in was enormous and I could see why. Around 40 stencil artists from around the world had been invited to paint their stuff in a 600 meter tunnel.
The show is officially on until Monday 5th May but the tunnel will become pedestrianised straight after. To be honest, I don't know how long the pieces will last with all those street-art haters out there. There will be probably be some vain attempts at stealing some of the owrk straight off the walls too.
I'd also like to thank Fark FK for managing to let us in the back way and making sure we didn't have to queue for the hour and a half like everyone else! Thanks a bunch mate!
