I know I'm a bit late with this story but I missed it the first time it was doing its rounds. (Thanks for the heads-up Irie!) The Telectroscope is an installation by Paul St George which enables people to see each other in real-time across the Atlantic Ocean, from London to New York. It has a lovely steampunk feel to it and invokes the exciting age of Invention & Discovery, from a hundred-odd years ago.
