Hush Twin Show

British artist, HUSH has just opened his solo show in LA at New Image Gallery (May 21st) and it looks to be a good one. He's still running with the Asian flavour in his art, but these pieces seem to be less cute/manga-esque and on much more of a serious tip.

Wayne White Word Paintings

"Wayne White's most successful works have been the world paintings featuring oversized, three-dimensional text painstakingly integrated into vintage landscape reproductions. The message of the paintings is often thought-provoking and almost always humorous, with Wayne pointing a finger at vanity, ego, and his memories of the South." He actually won three Emmys for his work on the set design of Pee-Wee's Playhouse!! This guy has talent in all kinds of fields of creativity...
